At Recover we offer specialist outpatient services to those looking for help and support within a number of different areas.

Our team is based in the London area but we work with a select group of therapists throughout the UK and make referrals to those we think most able to respond to your particular needs.

Recover assessment service

Our team of therapists offers a one-off assessment service for anyone who thinks they might benefit from some sort of therapeutic input such as one-to-one counselling or residential treatment. An assessment lasts around 45 minutes and will give you a clear idea of what sort of treatment plan might be of benefit to you.

Recover counselling service

Counselling is an opportunity to explore difficult issues and change destructive behaviours within a supported and safe environment. We know that making the decision to change can be difficult but our team is here to offer help and support to you or your loved ones when you feel ready. If you would like to talk to somebody about the possibility of having some counselling, please call one of our team.

Recover eating disorders therapy group

At Recover we offer a specialist eating disorders group which is available to men and women struggling with eating disorders: anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating and compulsive overeating.

The eating disorders group takes a psychotherapeutic approach that empowers participants to access and express their thoughts and feelings. The group helps people distinguish between healthy, positive thoughts and the sort of destructive, negative thinking caused by their eating disorder. The goal is to achieve personal validation through promoting self-expression and self-awareness, challenging cognitive distortions and replacing them with healthy, self-loving thoughts.
