The treatment centre offers 43 en-suite rooms with access to mobile phones, television, radio and newspapers. Patient care begins with afree assessment and is followed with a concise 4-week programme based on the 12-step method, incorporating one-to-one counselling and group therapy. Small intimate groups of 10 are preferred at this centre. Detox facilities are optional. Family support is offered in addition to a 12-month aftercare programme to reinforce the primary treatment.

This alcohol and drug rehabilitation centre is situated in the beautiful north Gloucestershire countryside, only 60 miles from Birmingham. Patient care begins with a free assessment and then a more thorough assessment with the residential psychiatrist. The client is then engaged in a concise 4- or 6-week programme based on the 12-step method, incorporating detox, one-to-one counselling and group therapy. Small intimate groups of no more than 12 are preferred at this centre. Family support consists of weekly family meetings. An aftercare programme is implemented for a 12-month period and a relapse support group is also included. As well as ongoing group and one-to-one activities, this centre also offers equine therapy, and is the country’s leading provider of this very effective form of treatment therapy.
