Addiction Advice from People Who Understand
Re-cover Ltd was founded in 2006 by David Gilmour and Marco Martinez. Both had successful careers in music and banking respectively. Both endured dependencies on alcohol and drugs at the height of their careers and went into residential rehabilitation facilities. They experienced a wide variety of available help after treatment. They have now successfully overcome their addictions and are in long-term recovery.
Re-cover was formed in response to the frustration they experienced when trying to find a residential rehab centre that was right for them.
More recently, alcohol and drug campaigner Rosie Johnston has joined Re-cover. She brings first hand knowledge of the destructive effects of drugs and alcohol. Rosie also runs educational programmes for schools to teach young people about the realties of drug and alcohol abuse.
